The Golden State Warriors listed Andrew Wiggins (ankle) as probable to play in Tuesday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers.

WHAT IT MEANS:
Wiggins has missed the Warriors’ last two games with an ankle injury, but appears to be on track to play against the Lakers on Tuesday. Brandin Podziemski could move back to the bench if the Warriors insert Wiggins right back into the starting five.

Wiggins is projected for 28.2 FanDuel points against the Lakers, with 15 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.2 assists.
On Tuesday evening, the Golden State Warriors will be in Los Angeles for a showdown with the Lakers.
For the game, the Warriors will likely get one of their best players back in action, as 2022 NBA Champion Andrew Wiggins is listed as probable on the injury report.

The former Kansas star had missed each of the previous two games.

Via Anthony Slater of The Athletic on Monday: “Andrew Wiggins is probable to return tomorrow at Lakers. Gary Payton II also probable. Warriors should have full rotation available.”

Wiggins is averaging 13.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists per contest while shooting 45.1% from the field and 35.8% from the three-point range in 67 games.

The Warriors are the tenth seed in the Western Conference (the final play-in tournament spot) with a 43-35 record in 78 games.

They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games and most recently defeated the Utah Jazz (at home) by a score of 118-110.

Following Los Angeles, the Warriors will play their next game on Thursday evening when they visit the Portland Trail Blazers in Oregon.
