Discovery and Response
Responding to a 911 call, law enforcement and emergency services rushed to Pioneer Hall on the university campus. Shortly thereafter, upon arrival, they found Dr. St. John deceased in her office. Despite the tragic circumstances, both the university security and local authorities assured there was no imminent danger to anyone on campus.

Additionally, students were encouraged to reach out to Student Development or Human Resources if they needed assistance in dealing with their grief.
