A sizzling rivalry
So what makes Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka such a mouth-watering contest, you ask?

Think Angelo Mathews’s controversial timed-out dismissal at the 50-over World Cup, think on-field brawls at the Asia Cup, think shattered glass in the dressing room and think “nagin dance“.Every time they meet, there is no shortage of provocative words on the field and placards in the stands.Cricket – ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 – Bangladesh v Sri Lanka – Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi, India – November 6, 2023 Umpire attempts to stop an argument between Bangladesh’s Najmul Hossain Shanto and Sri Lanka’s Sadeera Samarawickrama REUTERS/Anushree Fadnavis
