SportsOKC Thunder vs LA Lakers Game Player Stats and Box Scores for March 4, 2024

On Monday, the OKC Thunder and LA Lakers played their fourth and final game of the season. Oklahoma hopes to even the season series after losing 112-105 on January 15. Jalem Williams, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Chet Holmgren spearheaded Oklahoma’s offensive against the Lakers.

Thanks to “SGA” and Josh Giddey, the visitors got off to a fast start. They quickly jumped up to a 21-11 lead, which the Lakers eventually overcame. Late in the first quarter, Austin Reaves, Anthony Davis, and Rui Hachimura spearheaded LA’s charge to level the game 25–25 heading into the second half.

In the second quarter, it was the Lakers’ turn to get off to a hot start. Additionally, Oklahoma missed a number of easy baskets that would have given LA a 10-point advantage. However, OKC bounced back just in time to maintain a close distance from the hosts.

After the first twenty-four minutes of play, the LA Lakers, led by LeBron James, went up 52–43 thanks to a late surge. “King James,” who was scoreless in the opening frame, scored nine points in the following one.
