In an interview with Meczyki in his native Poland, FC Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski disclosed that he and his colleagues are not “afraid” of Kylian Mbappe should the Frenchman join Real Madrid. He also discussed where he will play the following season.
According to The Athletic and a number of other publications, Mbappe has told Paris Saint-Germain that he will not extend his contract with them before it expires on June 30.
After two false dawns in 2017 and 2022, the 25-year-old is now free to join for his next club on a free transfer, which is most likely Real Madrid.
Mbappe would be plunged into one of the fiercest rivalries in professional football as soon as he joined Los Blancos, as the team from the Spanish capital faced off against Lewandowski’s Barcelona outfit.
And although a lot of outfits might get upset about having to play the superstar of the future on a regular basis, Lewandowski only sees the bright side.

But Lewandowski knows exactly where he’ll be playing next season. He made it apparent, “I’m staying in Barcelona,” adding that he was familiar with “the mechanisms of the Spanish press” and that they “are what they are” when it comes to connecting players to exits at each time there is a hiccup.
Lewandowski emphasized, “I don’t want to repeat myself anymore.” “One thing leaks out one day, and then another. I will remain in Barcelona.”
